Is it too soon to talk about Christmas?
I know a few people who already have their tree up, which is… ambitious of them. I can honestly only handle Christmas every other year or so, it just seems to come up so fast and add so many extra tasks to my to-do list. That being said, I’m going to try and get all my shopping done before December even hits this year so I can take my mind off the hustle and try to enjoy the season.
That’s why I wanted to get you a few gift guides before Thanksgiving, so you can keep an eye out for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals that will allow you to avoid the stores during this crazy shopping season and hopefully spend a little more time with the ones you love.
I have a couple gift guides coming out this week, but today’s is my favorite because it’s for FOODIES! It was so fun rounding up exciting gifts for the food lover in your life. There’s a range of price points here, but really nothing comes out too expensive (seriously, I know you’re not buying someone a stand mixer for Christmas!).
Foodie Gift Guide 2018
Just Ripe Fruit Bowl
The fruit bowl in my house is always in good use. I love that this one has a special space for ripening my beloved avocados, while keeping the already ripe fruits a safe distance away!
CBD Bitters
I haven’t personally jumped on the CBD train yet, but I’m really intrigued by its benefits, and what could be more fun than including it in cocktails?
Jeni’s Ice Cream
A surprise ice cream delivery is just about the most exciting thing that could happen this holiday season. Jeni’s is a universally loved brand, and you have to see all those yummy seasonal flavors you never knew you needed.
Food 52 Apron
Is it weird that I want to dress like Daisy from Downton Abbey every day? Probably, but if you know another weirdo like me they’re going to love this cross linen apron.
Air Fryer
If you want to be on the forefront of trends, the air fryer is where it’s at! It’s basically just what it sounds like – get your favorite foods nice and crispy without all that oil.
Instant Pot
Still trendy (because its awesome) is the Instant Pot. I received this one as an early Christmas gift and I’ve been loving it! If you get one, let me know if you’d like to start seeing more vegetarian Instant Pot recipes on the blog!
OXO Steel Vertical Lever Corkscrew
There are a lot of corkscrew options out there, and chances are everybody already has one, but this one is really special. I have one almost exactly like it and when we have guests over they’re consistently impressed with its functionality.
Chef’s Knife
Everyone needs a chef’s knife! I have three, so don’t worry about whether or not the person you’re gifting to has one already. This one has a really reasonable price point compared to a lot of chef’s knives out there.
Lodge Cast Iron Skillet
Another thing everyone should have is a good quality cast iron skillet. I like the 12 inch because I’m always cooking for a crowd, and lodge has been around forever making the very best skillets. Cast iron is also a great (and easy!) way to add extra iron to your diet, which is crucial for vegetarians and vegans.
Jar Opener
If you know someone who struggles with opening jars, I love this solution! The mechanism does all the work for you, so no more sore hands or skipped dinners because you couldn’t get the jar open.
Crock Pot Lunch Warmer
File this under totally unnecessary but 100% fun. Bring your lunch to work in this little warmer, keep it on your desk, and be the envy of the office as they smell your goodies all morning. This is a great option for those who shy away from microwaves as well.
Pizza Cutter
Isn’t this just the cutest? It’s the type of thing you would love to have but might not buy yourself – perfect for gifting!
Toast Print
This is the cutest print and makes an easy gift for just about anyone.
Laptop Sleeve
Pineapples are still trendy and adorable, plus I love the color on this!
Nonstick Loaf Pan
Color is everything, right? This is just the prettiest loaf pan and would be right at home in any modern kitchen.
GIR Spatula and Spoonful Set
These spatulas are so tough and come in a million colors. Plus they’d fit nicely into any stocking!
Anchor Hocking 4 piece mixing bowl set
Does any good baker ever have enough mixing bowls? These are simple, beautiful, and stackable.
Stainless Steel Measuring Cups
Measuring cups might seem like a boring gift, but I love having extras so I don’t need to wash one while making a million different things.
