Happy holidays, friends!
I know a lot of people have been struggling financially this year, and I want to help ease some of that burden when it comes to the meals we share around the holidays. To do this, I’ve put together a fundraiser that will help provide food to the families that live in my community.
All donations up to the $1,000 goal will be used by me to purchase a variety of shelf stable foods including staples as well as holiday items such as sprinkles, pie shells, sweetened condensed milk, etc. I will distribute these items to Little Free Pantries in the area. Any donations above the goal will be donated to the Wafer Food Pantry in La Crosse, Wisconsin, which does great work helping to provide food and education to the community.
While my community has many food pantries and charities that are helpful in providing food to those in need, most have income guidelines which allow some to fall through the cracks, especially when it comes to special holiday meals. This is why I’ve chosen to distribute the food to Little Free Pantries, which are easily accessible within the community and available to all.
If you’re able, please consider making a donation, which is being hosted on GoFundMe. I hope you and the rest of my community can have full bellies and a happy holiday!
